Description:
The door sign is often one of the first things visitors notice. We hope you choose to use our signs to give your entrance a personal touch.
The text is engraved on the back of the acrylic front plate. This is a proven method that has several advantages. Among other things, the engraving is protected from discoloration and scratches, while the front is completely smooth, which makes cleaning easier and prevents dirt/dust from accumulating in the engraved area.
Acrylic is a versatile and beautiful product, but it easily attracts fingerprints, streaks and nicks. It is important that you take this into account during both installation and any cleaning. We recommend that you follow the installation instructions - but the most important thing is:
- During assembly, never place the sign directly on the ground or any other hard/uneven/dirty surface. Place the sign on a piece of paper towel or cloth.
- Avoid hard paper and use very light pressure on the sign when cleaning. Fingerprints and dirt are easily removed by applying a glass cleaning spray that can be easily wiped off with a microfiber or glass cloth.
Should you be unlucky and damage the front plate, we can offer a new plate at a reduced price. In that case, please send an inquiry to post@vestgravering.no .
Installation with or without air between front and back plate
The sign can be mounted with or without air between the plates. Feel free to try both variants before mounting the sign. The steel studs included consist of a cylinder and a screw.
When mounting without gaps, both plates are placed between the cylinder and screw during assembly.
When installing with a gap, the back plate is placed between the housing wall and cylinder, while the front plate is placed between the cylinder and screw.
See our assembly instructions for a more detailed description.
