Our tin signs ensure that you get the sign of the blow/hoop and the tool in a good way. We recommend mounting with strips in such a way that the sign either "hangs freely" in one or two holes or sits tightly on the tool so that you avoid the sign getting caught in the tool and breaking.
The material we offer is a 2-layer plastic laminate where the surface through which it is engraved is white and the substrate is black. This ensures that the sign is readable even after a long time in the sea. In case of very long use, the marks can be scrubbed or washed off with any strong detergent.
Labeling requirements
According to requirements from the Directorate of Fisheries, blowpipes (at least 1) and pots and ruses must be marked with the owner's name and registered address. For pots set in a chain, each individual pot must be marked. For lobster fishing, blowpipes must also be marked with the participant number.
For commercial fishing, the requirement to mark one of the bellows or hoops applies, but there is no requirement to mark the gear itself.
