More about our self-adhesive mailbox signs
Many people choose to write directly on the mailbox with a marker or tape various types of notes. This is of course perfectly fine, and will work for a while.
We recommend installing a separate mailbox sign anyway. This will make it easier for the postman to find the right mailbox, and you will avoid your letters ending up in the wrong mailbox. Also remember that the mailbox is often the first thing new visitors see - a proper mailbox sign gives a neat and tidy appearance!

We can also supply 0.8mm signs without double-sided film on the back. This is well suited for signs that will be placed in pockets on system mailboxes, etc.
Assembly
The signs are supplied with self-adhesive, double-sided tape on the back. Wash the surface well so that it is free of dirt and grease before gluing the postal sign for best results. When mounted on a clean and flat surface, both the adhesive and the sign will last for many years. The adhesive film will have the longest lifespan mounted directly on steel, plastic, glass or painted surfaces. When mounted on unpainted wood and untreated concrete/wall, the adhesive will release sooner.
Maintenance
The material of the signs is a UV-resistant acrylic plastic laminate intended for long-term outdoor use. The signs do not require maintenance, but like everything else, they will get dirty after long periods of exposure to the elements. Washing with warm water and soap is in most cases enough to make the sign look new again.
Design
For all our mailbox signs you can enter the text you want yourself. The preview supports different fonts and font sizes over one or more lines.
Our design tool is simple and user-friendly, and gives an accurate picture of how the finished sign will look. Some adjustments cannot be made in the design tool, e.g. minor adjustments to the "air" between each line. Please leave a comment on your order if you would like such adjustments - we will arrange it before the sign is engraved and shipped.
Our production
Unlike many other suppliers, we use a professional fiber laser for the actual engraving. The fiber laser has an extreme resolution that provides a very good level of detail, especially in contrast to CO2 lasers that are traditionally used for this type of task.
